Ernest George Meers

Ernest George Meers (1848, Ashford, Kent;〔(Biographical Dictionary of the Organ )〕 – 20 August 1928, York) was an English tennis player.
==Tennis career==
Meers played at the Wimbledon Championships between 1890 and 1895, reaching the quarterfinals of the all-comers competition in 1894 and the semifinals in 1895.〔Collins, B. ISBN 978-0-942257-70-0, p. 414.〕 He reached the semifinals of the U.S. National Championships in 1889 and won the British Covered Court Championships in 1892.〔Myers, A.W.
